After surgery, it is completely normal to see swelling, bruising and even hard or “board-like” areas under the skin. The operation shapes your body, but recovery shapes your final result. Our kits are designed to help you manage swelling, protect your scars and support smoother tissues at home, alongside your surgeon’s instructions.
Always follow your surgeon’s specific advice first. The timeline below is a general guide.

Below is a more detailed step-by-step guide you can use as your daily reference.
Phase 1 – The First Days (Day 0–2)
Goal: rest, protect incisions, start gentle internal support.
What to do
-
Focus on resting, breathing and short walks if your surgeon recommends them.
-
Keep your compression garment exactly as instructed.
-
Arnica Lympho Tea (Pro kits)
-
If your doctor agrees, you can start from Day 0.
-
Drink 1–2 cups per day to support hydration and comfort.
-
-
Guide Book (all kits)
-
Read the first chapters before or right after surgery so you know what to expect and how to position your body, when to start massage and what is normal in each stage.
-
What not to do
-
Do not massage over fresh incisions.
-
Do not use the roller, fibrosis cream or scar gel yet.
Phase 2 – Early Recovery (Day 2–7)
Goal: support lymphatic flow and bruising, without irritating incisions.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage Oil with Arnica
-
Once your surgeon confirms it is safe, normally between 48 and 72 hours, apply a thin layer to the treated area, avoiding incision lines and any glue or open skin.
-
Use feather-light strokes that move toward your nearest lymph nodes (for tummy and lipo areas, usually down and slightly out toward the groin).
-
Start with one gentle session per day. If comfortable, you can repeat in the evening.
Arnica Lympho Tea (Pro kits)
-
Continue 1–2 cups daily, unless your doctor says otherwise.
Still avoid
-
Roller, fibrosis cream and scar gel at this stage unless your surgeon explicitly approves them earlier.
Phase 3 – Activating Drainage and Preventing Fibrosis (Day 7–14)
Goal: move fluid and keep tissues from hardening.
By the end of Week 1 many patients feel less sore and their surgeon allows gentle mechanical massage.
Lymphatic & Fibrosis Massager
-
Introduce once your surgeon confirms it is safe, typically between Day 7 and Day 10.
-
Always apply a light layer of Lymphatic Massage Oil first to protect the skin.
-
Use the roller with light pressure only. Never push into pain or bruises.
-
Roll in slow, downward or diagonal strokes toward the lymph nodes, not back and forth randomly.
-
Start with 5 minutes once per day. If it feels comfortable, you can build up to twice daily.
Fibrosis Cream
-
If your doctor approves, you can begin applying Fibrosis Cream around this same time to areas that feel firm, ropey, lumpy or “board-like.”
-
Massage in gentle circular motions with your fingertips or after using the roller.
-
Use 1–2 times per day.
Oil and Tea
-
Continue using the Arnica Oil before each roller session and whenever the skin feels tight or dry.
-
Continue Arnica Lympho Tea (Pro kits) daily for comfort.
Phase 4 – Refining Shape and Starting Scar Care (Week 3–6)
Goal: soften thick areas, support scar appearance, maintain fluid movement.
Lymphatic & Fibrosis Massager
-
Use 5–10 minutes per day, focusing on thicker or more puffy areas.
-
Movements stay gentle, always in the direction of lymphatic drainage.
Fibrosis Cream
-
Continue 1–2 times daily on areas that feel firm or uneven.
-
Over time, tissues should feel softer and more pliable.
5-in-1 Scar Gel
(Comprehensive and Pro kits)
-
Start once incisions are fully closed and all scabs are gone, usually around 2 to 3 weeks after surgery, with your surgeon’s approval.
-
Apply a thin layer directly on the incision lines twice per day.
-
Gently massage for about one minute, following the line of the scar.
-
Regular, gentle massage plus silicone gel is considered a gold standard for cosmetic scar care.
Arnica Oil and Tea
-
Continue Arnica Oil before roller sessions and any time the skin feels tight or dry.
-
If you have Arnica Tea, you can keep drinking it once or twice a day as part of your recovery ritual.
Phase 5 – Long-Term Maintenance (Week 6 and Beyond)
Goal: maintain smooth contour and support final results.
Internal healing continues for many months, even if you feel “back to normal”.
-
Roller
-
Use 2–3 times per week on any areas that tend to swell or feel thick by the end of the day.
-
-
Fibrosis Cream
-
Use as needed if an area starts to feel firm again.
-
-
Scar Gel
-
Continue nightly or twice daily up to 3–6 months, or as your surgeon advises.
-
-
Arnica Oil and Tea
-
Use when you want extra comfort, glide for massage or a calming ritual.
